With regards to effort, requirements and challenges the development and installation of offshore wind farms is often compared to men’s journey to the moon. One main challenge is a robust but cost-efficient concept for wind turbine foundations, as well as their cost- and time-effective installation.

This event will discuss the current and future developments in design and installation of wind turbine foundations and focus on the factors influencing longevity.
