Die Konferenz wird auf Englisch abgehalten.
Optimising offshore foundations is one of the key challenges for reducing the overall CoE, and thus making offshore wind more competitive.
Foundation designers have produced a variety of different solutions – monopiles, gravity-based systems, tripods, jackets and innovative solutions like the suction pile foundations. Which of these are most cost-efficient in different soils and water depths, looking at production cost as well as transport and installation, is still up for discussion.
Before the background of the first installed offshore foundations, it is now time to have a close look at lessons learned and define the room for improvement.
